With all the Dollie Drama as of late... I now have to lock her in the house when I leave for work at 8:30 in the morning.  She is having way too much trouble walking and climbing through the Doggie door is too difficult for her.  I don't want her to get stuck out there in the elements (Heat & storms).  I went through this with Lucy and we are here ( Read more... )

• Donated The Micowave.
• Nails done for Derby.
• Found and Bought 120 sqft of Tile and a Toilet for the Downstairs Bathroom for a Total of $180.
• Ordered a BoxSpring and Bedframe ($75) for the bed Downstairs.
• Got all the furniture moved around (2 recliners upstairs - 1 recliner put in the Office - Twin Bed moved Downstairs).

I have been rehabing the fence for a while now.  What has been holding me back is money.  I hate spending more than I have to on materials and any time I can get tem on sale... Well that's a happy day.  A couple of times a year pickets that are $1.58 a piece are reduced to $1.25 or even lower.  33¢ Is that all?  Well considering it takes at least ( Read more... )

I have decided Not to wait till Spring / Summer to paint my Outdoor Furniture.  I usually Try to do it in the Spring, and I slap a hurried coat of white paint on and call it a day.  And it looked like crap.  Who cares it's outside!  Well, I do this year.  I also want to tune up the furniture and correct the wobblies, replace missing springs and ( Read more... )

But I am doing stuff.  I started working on my project tables.  Emptying one and building the other.  The table I use to store to-dos and project parts on, well... So Sunday I decide I'm going to take the boards from the fence and power wash them.  Then when they dry out, I can cut them down to usable planks for the table I'm working on.  There is something like 45 pickets... I was only able to clean 21.  My day's plans changed from Picket Cleaning to Bug Killing...
